Currently, I am using two ways. Could you guys verify whether these approaches are valid to calculate PM torque and reluctance torque in PM machine?

1. Generate three-phase inductance using the software. Then, change those to DQ inductance. Similarly, convert three-phase current to dq current. Then find PM torque and reluctance torque using Torque = 3/2p(PM flux linkage*Iq + (Ld-Lq)*Id*Iq). By the way, how to determine PM flux linkage?

2. To get reluctance torque, run the motor without PM. The torque generated from this will be reluctance torque. Then, calculate total torque by simulating with PM. PM torque will be total torque - reluctance torque.

Thank you.
