To perform meta-analysis, we need to know the mean and standard deviation in two intervention and control groups, but in the articles, Median and 95% confidence interval are reported (the first and third quartiles are not reported). Is there a way to calculate the mean and standard deviation using the median and confidence interval?
In online calculation sites, the median and the first and third quartiles are needed, which unfortunately Q1 and Q3 are not reported in the articles.

In a non-normal distribution, meaian±95% C.I ~ median (Q1 and Q3) Suppose it is a normal distribution and consider median=mean, then estimate the standard deviation from the error term of confidence interval
Please think about the following possibilities:
s.d= (confidence interval length*sqrt (n))/(2*zα/2)
