I measured the OD600 for C. crescentus wild type and mutants strains every 60 minutes, and I need to calculate the doubling time for each strain to see the effect of mutations on doubling time. How I calculated using the following equation

tD= ln 2/k , where K = ln (OD2/OD1)/(t2-t1) because when I applied it the calculations were wrong , so anyone can help me in this calculation?

Or there is another method to calculate the doubling time?
