Mass of 1 mol% catalyst in grams = (no. of moles of limiting regent) x (molecular weight of the catalyst in gram) / 100
eg. if 5 mM (i.e. 0.005 M) of the limiting reagent is being used, and the molecular weight of the catalyst is 220 g/mol, then 1 mol% of the catalyst would be
(0.005 x 220) / 100 = 0.011 g
Therefore, 3 mol% catalyst would be 3 x 0.011 g = 0.033 g = 33 mg
