Why I should use UDF for modelling hetrogeneous Reaction ?

Hi Everyone,

I am using a UDF file that contains coke oxidation of spent catalyst. I was wondering if there is any way to use the built in Function in Ansys instead. Furthermore, coke oxidation can be complete and incomplete combustion. can I use a function that distinguish the reactions? Finally, I am trying to edit this UDF to consider complete combustion but I don't know how to perform this?
