What are the necessary steps for becoming a scientist? After completing introductory, high school and under-graduation studies, one needs to carry out research internship of interest and background. Graduate and postgraduate programs provide opportunity for in depth studies and research programs. However, in depth knowledge of technique/ techniques for the selected project and concepts and current advances in the area of interest are essentially required. Doing further research are the next steps for learning more with full perseverance, dedication, patience, and hardworking that bring meanwhile mostly to an opportunity of a full time job for higher education, creative learning, establishing research programs and guiding the research students and scholars. What is your suggestion/ suggestions for becoming a scientist?
To the students who wish to become a scientist, I recommend this: Read a lot of biographies of scientists. Doing so would help them learning about perseverance, dedication, patience, and hardworking.

So far, to be a scientist, it takes laborious tasks to do experiments or innovations. This is also measured with the number of researches published with high impact factor that facilitate the solutions of certain problems in the society.

In the " wheel of knowledge" explained by Charles Sanders Pierces , we see that humans by instinct react to the environment and the phenomena therein differently. Those who are instinctively ready to contribute to the existing Universal Body of Knowledge (U.K.B) and those who are merely the users of such knowledge. As such, the wish to become a scientist requires "promptitude of action' in order to investigate the unknown or to establish the validity and credibility of what is already known.

There are very few careers that take longer than this one. The field of scientific study you ultimately choose comes down to your interests. Scientist is a person or individual who is studying and has expert & skilled knowledge of one or more of the natural & physical sciences. Scientists choose to become scientists because they are fundamentally curious about the world around them and how the things in it work. This curiosity leads them to investigate the how and why behind what they see, even if the investigation takes years to come to fruition. you have to think differently. It requires attention, dedication to work and ability to face long working hours. He Or She always read scientific journals. A scientist should have an ability to work independently and sometimes with guidance. You must have good presentation skills, computing skills, time management, team working skills, etc. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was a famous Indian Scientist & former president of India. He has contributed for the development of missile and nuclear weapons programs of India”.

There are no fixed rules following which you can become a scientist.
A simple person doing some house hold work can invent something useful, may be small scale, but definitely better than the previous version of an instrument/ utensil/ farming/ grinding/ poultry ...any sort of thing for that matter.
science is all about thinking above the normal...why and why not...if you can think and act accordingly to improvise the present things to future applications you are a scientist.
