Hi all,
Currently, I electrodeposited polypyrrole on carbon electrode but I got some problem when polypyrrole also deposited on the surface of the counter electrode. The concentration of pyrrole is 100 mM prepare in 5 mmol/L potassium ferricyanide. How can I troubleshoot this problem?
This is carbon electrode that currently I used.

Thank you Frank T. Edelmann. I understood from the RG thread that you attached above. But, during the electropolymerization process, what the best way to avoid polypyrrole from polymerizing on the counter electrode? The thread above is a way to remove polypyrrole after the electropolymerization process.

On p. 13449 it is stated that "The choice of −0.4 V as lower limit ensured reduction of the PPy film and was still sufficiently anodic to avoid polymerization at the counter electrode."
