Hi everyone, I am doing an experiment involving MSAB (HY-120697) and according to the datasheet, MSAB dissolves well in DMSO at 10 mg/ml (1 ml DMSO stock). For i.p. injection in mice (~30 g, ≤15 days treatment), the plan was to dilute the stock into a 10% DMSO + 90% corn oil vehicle to achieve ~1 mg/ml per mouse. However, mixing DMSO with corn oil results in phase separation, although this issue is not mentioned in the instructions. What practical strategies can be used to prepare a homogeneous vehicle for MSAB i.p. delivery? Would switching to a PEG300 + Tween80 solubilization system ensure miscibility and stable formulation? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
