but if you can, i recommend you to do an analysis before your main analysis. use the resulted stress by "PSTRES" command in your main analysis.

There is pre tension option just similar to bolt pretension in ANSYS WORKBENCH

Emadaldin Sh Khoram-Nejad sir, we can apply prestress in a solid element using initial strain or stress in command. but in my case, I am using the SHELL63 element. can we apply prestress in terms of strain or stress or any equivalent load in shell63 element?
