I have files which is EEG file format, if load these files in EEGLAB it shows some options like trail range subset, type range subset, electrode subset, response range subset, i don't what to have fill in that, after select ok it shows maximum variable size allowed program is exceeded.
Can anyone guide me how to analysis it?

How are you loading the data?
Depending on how you go about recording your data you should have most of this information in the file. I've put a script below that usually does the job.
[ALLEEG EEG CURRENTSET ALLCOM] = eeglab;
EEG = pop_loadeep('path and file name' , 'triggerfile', 'on');
%this line will locate the file and load it using the standard loading UI, you can also try the FILEIO or BIOSIG UI's if you get any problems. The trigger file on option will load an appropriate trigger file (this depends on your file type though).
[ALLEEG EEG CURRENTSET] = pop_newset(ALLEEG, EEG, 0,'setname','SET_NAME' ,'gui','off');
%this line creates a blank data set (with a given name) to put the loaded data into.
EEG=pop_chanedit(EEG, 'lookup','C:\Program Files\EEGLab\eeglab13_2_2b\plugins\dipfit2.3\standard_BESA\standard-10-5-cap385.elp');
%this line locates the appropriate channel range.
eeglab redraw
%refresh the eeglab window.
If this does not help solve your problem let me know, I think I have another loading function that I use for converting .mat files to .set files - although it is a bit more of a faff to use.

I couldn't load the file using these FILEIO or BIOSIG interface. I recorded for rat which is having only two channels ie frontal and occipital and the file is eeg format. what you told these FILEIO or BIOSIG interface not supported..

I don't know if you mean that your files are .eeg format of eeglab format (.set files). I am facing the same problem as yours. I have already tried
>>signal=loadeeg('filename.eeg');
but it gives the same error as with the GUI of EEGLAB, which is what you have also reported. Could you please share if you were able to resolve this? how you worked around it? or any other software tool that you used to open the *.eeg file?
