SnRK2 (sucrose nonfermenting 1-related protein kinase 2) is a signaling protein, that can be found in growing parts especially roots.

My question is:

1. Does it maintain the osmotic pressure in the roots?

2. Does it have any effect on ROS (reactive oxygen species) or on changing tolerance in plants?
