I intended to make a Thermosensitive chitosan-beta-glycerol phosphate hydrogel, which was based on the protocol of the article (Heat-sensitive electroconductive gold nanoparticle-chitosan hydrogels for cardiac tissue engineering), which is briefly as follows:

CS powders were dissolved in 0.1 M acetic acid at fixed concentrations of CS (2% w/v). Disodium β-glycerophosphate salt solution was prepared in d.d.H2O, then added dropwise to CS solutions for 20 minutes in an ice-cold water bath.

This Hydrogel solidifies after being exposed to 37°C. The question that came to me is: Does it turn into liquid again at 23°C after being exposed to 37°C , or its only liquefy at 23°C before being placed at 37°C?
