In case of nanocoatings, whatever the mixture is( a mixture of nanoparticles/ or a mixture of liquids),how can we determine the temperature to be set after we coat the specimen.
Here I refer solgel process( should we consider only the criteria of solvent evaporation temperature (or) should we consider the effect of mixture too)

For my knowledge, you can perform TGA (Thermogravimetric Analysis) on your mixture to determine at which temperature your mixture starts to degrade (the thermal stability of your nanocoating). By that, you can insure a solid coating without any risk of degradation. And of course you should also check the effect of the mixture too if you do not want to cause any possible reaction in the mixture while elevating the temperature.
Also the temperature can play a main role in your mixture viscosity. That is why it is important to check the glass temperature of the mixture if you want a final solid coating.
But since I am more an expert in plasma coatings than in sol gel materials, I propose you to read the following article on nanocoatings by sol-gel dip coating. I think it will give you better information in you field.
