Just wondering what I should expect in terms of a yield in ng/ul when isolating RNA using the Qiagen miRNeasy kit from serum. Thanks!
RNA yield depends on the storage &the time of collection of the serum. RNA yield will be good from freshly collected serum. The yield varies from sample to sample and also the individual.
all the best
Thanks very much Andrei. My yields are right in the same ballpark as those in the Nature Methods paper.
Looking to get away from using C14 spike-in as the standard and was wondering if using deuterated testosterone is a viable option for testosterone ELISAs. Thank you!
