After oxidizing HSA with different oxidants like H2O2. I'm going to know normal range of thiol concentration for native protein (mol Thiol/mol Protein) as we have just one Cysteine with a free Thiol group on HSA.
After oxidizing protein solution with different oxidants I added 50 micro liter of protein solution into 950 micro liter DTNB solution,prepared in phosphate buffer, and finally I reached to 0.4mol/mol thiol concentration for control group. I wonder whether I have a normal ratio or not.
