Networking is the basic requirement of research, so friends become research colleagues. Recently I have met some of my RG friends from various universities in Malaysia, who became my research colleagues. I also had opportunity to make many friends in a conference to join RG.

Dear Professor Dr Parisa,

Infact, many times I try to see with my friends in RG but failures come with the shortage of time, scope and mental preparations. Here, formal and intellectual relationships are the bonds, hearty relations are not much. I tried to make the informal relationship which is mostly requires in colloquialism to express oneself but failed due to lack of interest from the other side.

Still I know it is possible but the tie is waiting for the time.

It seems to me that everyone agrees for a meeting. Therefore, each of us choose a place and possibly some general issues to discuss in a conference and we organize a meeting. Therefore, I propose to meet in Sicily in the spring of 2019 but any other place for me goes just as well except Mars.

This is really a very cool and innovative question. ResearchGate is an excellent platform to connect with researchers from various universities and institutes from across the world, discuss various themes of science and exchange multiple views regarding science, technology and culture. Meeting such people at international conferences/symposia will be a great opportunity to take the intellectual relationship to the next level by interacting in real life and also developing deeper ties in the future perspective. I would be very happy and excited to meet them.

It will be very nice to meet RG colleagues especially those with very very high RG score. Haha

There is a balance between the both contra dictionary to meet many interesting people on the one hand, and have deeper emotional relationship on the other hand. Both to have is impossible. So it should be a very limited circle, and visiting each other will happen really seldom. Also with relatively long-time relationships on RG this can finish from one day to the other, and nobody must have a bad feeling.

That is wonderful idea and I would love to meet many of my research gate friends.

I traveled for career so many decades, away from family, running for the airplane gate, hurried meals, late hours.

There was telephone modem 9600k, telegraph, and satellite connection to 7 bit paper tape terminal, the computer main frame 8 bit and 16K, couriers, and continually entertaining associates. Friendships are made that last a life time, but time slips away.

Now I'm happy that colleagues meet on RG and share opinions, Much is accomplished.
