The viability of spores depends on genus.

For example the viability of zoospores in tween twenty of obligate parasite is around 3 to 4hr, where as conidiospores may stable for a week or months depending on the genus.

you can not keep the spore suspension in the refrigerator because there will be a germination of the spore, you have to store the suspension in the freezer
