In my study I would like to perform CFD pulverised coal combustion simulations and also include maceral effects on char combustion. Please advise if it is possible in CFD modelling to describe different particle groups entering the burner e.g. particle group A is rich in the maceral vitrinite and particle group B is rich in the maceral inertinite. Both particle groups enter the burner through the same inlet but their particles would differ in their char combustion reactivies. Please advise me if this is possible in CFD? If so, which CFD package/s would be suitable for my application?
