Approximate time taken for lyophilization of 50 ml sample mixed in sterile water. Purpose of lyphilization is HPLC. We have Lyodel lyophilizer in our facility. Model: DPRG-1GH?

Hello Abirami,
we mostly lyophilize samples dissolved in acetonitrile/water (80/20). The volume can be up to 14 mL. We usually need 48h to freeze-dry this volume completely. At 50 mL I would rather estimate 2-3 days, so something between 48 and 72 hours. But you would have to try this in practice. But it can also depend on your sample. There are compounds that are strongly hygroscopic. They are not dry even after several days.
