I am performing some lab trials regarding the esterification of FFA with a molar excess of glycerol (food grade). One of the main limitation for the reaction to go towards the production of MAG and DAG is the production of water that if not properly removed with vacuum (or other methods?) will slow down the reaction.

My question is especially about this last point. Is that enough a low vacuum (
