We know that by stroke the tone will alter the mobility of the nerve and will have influence on the working of the nervce in his way to the brain and back and will alter the stimulus perception in the whole system .

Well it's known that the pyramidal tract has stimulatory and inhibitory role on its pathway along the spinal cord .. after stroke both roles are affected causing weakness secondary to loss of stimulatory role and hypertonia up to spasticity due to loss of inhibitory role this is termed negative plasticity .. there is no direct damage to the spinal interneurons but just release phenomena .. some trials using repetitive TMS is being used either on the site of stroke or the spastic muscles as well as intermittent theta burst stimulation and are showing promising results in reversing this negative plasticity and reducing the negative effect of lost inhibition of pyramidal tract post stroke

What about those who recovered from stroke, how did the before and after compare?

Well CK Kelli if this question is directed to me .. the degree of baseline weakness or spasticity is the main factor affecting recovery .. not the duration of illness .. based also of the definition of plasticity which has no time limit .. I.e. when there is sever affection response to stimulation by different modalities of TMS is present but globally not on functional level but when severity is moderate to mild recovery is usually encountered subjective and objective .. currently we are doing some interesting work in our lab with the use of TMS on conditions that other medical options failed in it and there is promising results in vision .. sensation .. spasticity and global motor functions

My hypothese is:

Because the stimmuli from the brain through the spinal connections is poor that wel give an adaptation in the spinal connection. The input from the sensibility side will go up to the brain but the brain cannot handle this differentation and that will alos lead to an adaptation and will minfluence the spinal connections an orther time. When we are able to give task specific resistance treatment, we see on spinal level more coordination and power in the muscle but will this also have an chnage in the brain. Some times -YES - becaus ethe result stay and increase but often the result stay on teh same level and must the patient work hard to hold that "spinal Level"
