we have our destiny and is our total journey in life ur is it the mere factual endurance of living in a world of commonalities of diversions and retrospection of lost souls and the mind is a very powerful existence of matter that cosmos does not have control over ever never and the weak and the middle of the road type of people never seem to get ahead no matter how hard they perceive is the way
Human beings whatever may be their standing or their activities they do not have any control on their destiny as it is not in their hand .It is the play of the nature ,his planetary influence & cosmic environment the play of which we are unable to know .
It is in this line i have expressed my views in my presentation of my note where i have indicated as follows ''It is a creation of nature & destiny that whatever be standing of human being neither king nor proper cannot know what twill happen to us on next in the morning . Which is nothing but a part of destiny ''.
This is my personal opinion
My answer and perspective come from an Evangelical Christian paradigm. I would say that there are other factors that can lead a person to fall off their path than just the cosmos. If by "path" you are referring to destiny I would suggest that a person has the ability to change his destiny, or what happens to his future, to a certain degree, through personal decisions. For example, I can change my destiny of prison by making an active decision to not commit a crime that is punishable by prison time.
If by "path" you mean fate, then you are talking about determinism that is controlled by someone or something that is greater than one's self. From a Christocentric perspective, I believe that Christ came and died on the cross for everyone, and anyone who believes in Him (Romans 10:9-10) will change their destiny from (spiritual) death to life. This change in destiny, has been granted by the creator of the cosmos, i.e the owner of destiny and fate (Job 38:1-41:34).
In short, I believe a person has a measure of control over their path, whether to stay on it or fall off it. I believe that my path was changed when I personally made the decision to submit my life to Christ and allow Him to direct my steps. Through His guidance I am able to stay on the path.
That depends on how you define a 'path' and 'falling' . I don't believe we have a fixed, written in stone path in life. We may seem to be following a direct line of inquiry or experience however there are quite a few off-shoots to our journeys. I think that in the universal, collective sense there is no such thing as falling off ones pathway - that concept is a social construct.
The question itself contains the answer. And it is a wrong answer nonetheless. The cosmos DOES have control over us and no, we do not control everything with regards to our life. Yes we do play a role in what will happen, but the main contribution we can have is to accept the cosmos rather than trying to change it. And I am not saying this from a pessimistic point of view or as a slogan to call for people to do nothing and be passive, but as a philosophical conclusion based on thought and observation. Do you think you control everything? Think again. Some examples: Where you were born, how much money your parents had, whether you live under a ruthless dictator or in a democracy, whether you are struck by a lightning, whether you are eaten by a crocodile or run over by a car, what is hidden in your wife's/ husband/s mind and so on and so forth. In other words: RELAX. NOTHING IS UNDER CONTROL... :)
I can't take this question seriously. It's either trying too hard to sound "philosophical," having only a possible form of it without any substance. Or it's an attempt to troll the board. Either way, it's really not worthy of attention.

The wind is predetermined; but it is you who sets the sail. The pathways before us are predetermined; but it is you who must choose among them."
I once went to a Calvinist club on campus. They asked me, "Why are you here?" I responded that I chose to be there. They told me I needed to go to the Arminian club down the hall.
When I showed up there, they asked me why I was there. I told them that I was told to go there and didn't have a choice.
