How do I remove the research lab affiliations?

Some time ago I opened the research lab attachment and it populated automatically with all co-authors who were not members of another research lab. This has turned out to be embarrassing for me me since in no way are they part of anything I would call a research lab and I do not own/manage or belong to a research lab. How can I remove the research lab listing and designation?
