I'm trying to identify how similar different individuals are in their body traits. Normally, I would use a PCA or DFA, depending on my question. However, I have only categorical variables now. I have tried using a Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA) but I'm not sure the output is correct. Besides, all the examples I've found use binary variables (yes/no) while I'm using categorical variables with several (but not ordinal) levels.
I would appreciate if you know if MCA is the correct approach and if you know of any good tutorials on how to use them.

It's ok to use MCA with non-binary categorical vars, infact it is designed for that use...
