Hello guys,

I was wondering what is the right way of laying down a lid is when working inside a laminar flow hood, BSC or isolator.

Normally, if a cap of a container needs to be laid down, I place it in the optimum sterile area (i.e. clean area) with the inside of the cap facing down.

Nonetheless, I've heard of people doing it the opposite way, meaning with the inside of the cap facing up.

I would like to know what reasons favour and/or oppose to both ways.

Thanks!
