Dear fellow researchers,

I am currently trying to prepare solutions of water mixed with different organic solvents, such as methanol, acetonitrile...But our lab doesn't have proper electrodes on the pH meter for measuring the pH of the final mixture.

Can you measure "apparent pH" with regular pH test strips? I know it's probably not gonna be that accurate, but this is what I have at this moment.

Do you maybe have other alternative approaches for this question? Please let me know.

Thanks for your input.
