I have done binary logistic regression and l have identified 5 significant variables. How do you control variables in multivariate logistic regression analysis for a final model?
I'm not sure I completely understand your query. You've apparently run a LR, and noted that, of the IVs you included, five (5) were observed to have regression coefficients that you are confident are non-zero. That seems pretty straightforward.
So, is your intent now to rerun the LR analysis with just those five IVs (e.g., the "final model")? Is this what you mean by "controlling variables?" Or do you mean something else...perhaps if you would kindly elaborate a bit, you might get more helpful advice.
My study is looking at predictor variables to gambling participation. I wanted to run a multivariate logistic regression including all significant variables derived from the binary logistic regression. How do l proceed to derive a final model? Thanks.
