hello guys i am trying to simulate snap fit interaction. But im unable to stop contact object from penetrating its target object. i ve tried changing contact options but it didn't not help.

also i have been trying to change the displacement of the contact body from 0.21 to 0.1 but it the body is the not considering these values. it just goes and hits the object and go through this.

convex surface = contact body

concave surface = target body

My requirement is to see whether the cavity body will expand and comeback after the convex body coming from outside and fits in to it.

i have used frictional setting for contacts with Mu=0.11

My question is what setting is responsible to restrict this pentration?

and what is setting is responsible for how long the convex body travels ( i have tried to change the displacement but the object is traveling same distance like mentioned above with values).
