Currently I'm doing my research regarding on dynamic analysis of beam and block slab system in ANSYS program.
However, I'm facing difficulties and lack of understanding in modelling technique of the particular slab structure.
Do I need to do the homogenous modelling by considering (same approach as macro modelling in masonry structure) or detailed modelling technique by considering each constitutive elements (same approach as a micro modelling technique in masonry)?
Is there any related journals of researches that similar to this case study?

Vibration data obtained from field testing now will be applied to my model in Ansys program and perform the dynamic slab response. However, I'm facing some difficulties in the exact modelling technique so that the analysis will be performed without any mistake later.
The attached files below show the model that I have made in Ansys workbench program. However, the issue arises are:
1) How to assign the specific parameter of the interaction between joist (beams) and unit blocks.
2) And also the interaction between the concrete topping and unit blocks. Do I need to redesign the unit block into rectangular shape due to complex interaction?
If I understand your question, you want to learn how to write code files for ANSYS. In this case, the best way is to study the ANSYS Help Files. All the commands that can be used are explained quite well. Take your problem step by step, and search for the suitable commands. This worked fine for me. You could also try ANSYS forums on the net, i found lots of help there, too.
Dear Raimy, for modelling concrete slab with masonry wall system I would prefer to use the discrete element approach for masonry walls, this you can create simply by modelling each brick and connect them by contact elements. The whol wall system can be then connected to the slab also with cotact elements.
