How can you differentiate between two images of SEM and TEM ?

A conventional TEM image is 2D - just destribution of electron density (thin flat sample). A conventional SEM image is "quasi-3D" - result of scanning of 3D sample's surface with the electron beam. The difference is self-evident in most cases.
In some special cases (thin flat sample, etc), it is possible to take some very similar pictures from both microscopes.
A conventional TEM image is an ultrastructural image, on the contrary a SEM image is a 3 D scanning of the surface.
