I tried to prepare carboxylated graphene oxide by using the method in attached papers. However, from FTIR analysis, the peak of C=O group decreased and the peak of C=C increased dramatically (like in the first paper), indicating that graphene oxide was probably reduced. Besides, in other paper (second paper), the method to prepare is similar but the peak of of -C=O in this case increased significantly. Can you share your experience about this? Is there any step I need to care about?
