We have carried out the Characterization of Ore using SEM and Polarising microscopy. It is observed that a particular mineral shows different morphology in polarizing microscope as well as under SEM. For example some mineral show hexagonal shape morphology in SEM but same are absent in SEM.

I f you want to help youself in terms of ore microscopy and ore mineral moprhology please be adviced an consult the classical textbook by Ramdohr:
"The ore minerals and their intergrowth". The book is still available on the market as an edition in German and English and still a good tool.
