Hello, I am trying to find a way to coat the Silica Nanoparticles (with unknown size) in a way that it could be slowly quenched that we could control the "yield" by at different time points. We would like the surface charge of the SiNP to be controlled and achieve positively charged SiNP surfaces. Could you kindly guide me to any relevant papers or tips for this experiment? In our paper "Incorporation of mesoporous silica particles in gelatine gels: effect of particle type and surface modification on physical properties" we proposed a method to add possitive charges to MSP via functionalization with amines.
