I have the mechanical properties of a laminated woven carbon composite with three layers from experimental study. How can I add the same in ANSYS as a new material. Do we need to get the properties from single laminate ?

To input the properties of the new composite you have to select the orthotropic material, then it requires Young's modulus, Shear modulus, Poisson's ratio in X, Y and Z directions and Density of the material.
