Dear all,

I am hoping you may be able to assist me.

I am in the process of completing my master's thesis in psychology. I have two independent variables and one dependent variable. T he independent variables are continuous, and I am employing Multiple Regression (MR) analysis.

The model results are statistically significant, but I would like to see if there is also a correlation between the independent variables.

For instance, 'The impact of compassion and mindfulness on happiness'  The results indicate that both compassion and mindfulness are significant predictors of happiness. However, using MR, is it feasible to determine whether mindfulness leads to more compassion? (i.e. the two independent variables?)

Thank you beforehand for your assistance.

Best regards,

Brian.
