I'm currently working on developing a bioink with HMW HA-TA (hyaluronic acid/ tyramine) and Eosin Y alone. Final concentration of Polymer solution is 2.0 (w/v)% (in PBS) and Eosin Y (in DMSO) (1mM). I am making use of LED light of 1.9W and my gel gets formed after 15mins and is still taking time to strengthen. Although, I tried 1.5(w/v)% and Eosin Y (1mM), I formed a gel within 15mins too.
My questions are
1) At what concentration of Eosin Y does the photo crosslinker become toxic to cells?
2) How can I make my gels to be formed within seconds?
3) Where can I purchase light with 510nm for visible light crosslinking?
