How can I treat cells with 0.1 DMSO solution?

I bought an active compound as a powder and dissolved it in 100 percent DMSO as stated in the data sheet. This is my stock solution. Now I'm planning to do experiments on cells but I read that the percentage of dmso should not exceed 0.1 in cell treatment. What is the protocol for that?
