I have used my amicon filter one time for concentrating down the TEV protease. I want to re-use the device again in future for the same protein. How to store? Buffer and storage temperature?
milliQ water or ethanol 20% at 4°C are good for medium term (months) storage.
I suggested to you to filtrate at 0.22uM your protein samples before load it in the concentrator. in this way you will reduce the probability that the filter clog after few usages as suggested by Adam.
in my past experience, with a stable protein that do not tend to precipitate during concent, the Milipore ultra amicon-4 and -15 with 10Ka and 50Kda cut-off can be re-used several times for several months if well preserved.
