How can I track and label non-adherent cells?

I have a non-adherent population of cells and I want to track their proliferation with a method which incorporates with DNA. ( like Brdu assay).

Also I want to label my non-adherent cells and mix them with other cell types (I have coculture system) and I want to image them later on.

Does anybody have an experience?
