PEGASIS - Power-efficient gathering in sensor information systems is a sensor network routing protocol. And the source code for this is available in MATLAB. Can I replace NetSim's default routing with PEGASIS? Can you please suggest the steps to interface MATLAB PEGASIS with NetSim?

What is pegasis?
The PEGASIS (Power-Efficient Gathering in Sensor Information Systems) protocol forms a chain of the sensor nodes and the chain is formed using a greedy approach, starting from the node farthest to the sink node.
It’s one of the clustering routing protocol.

PEGASIS stands for Power-efficient gathering in sensor information systems. And it is a sensor network routing protocol. There is some pre existing code for PEGASIS in MATLAB and I want to interface this with NetSim. This can allow me to simulate the entire IOT Stack with NetSim, while using MATLAB's pre-existing PEGASIS code.

I guess you would need to read through this and see how to integrate PEGASIS routing. Yes, it ran smoothly. The example given doesn't have data fusion built in, and that need to be developed by the user.
