Sorry, no way. It is the easiest way.
Chop the embryonic bones into small pieces after washing them with DEPC water. Snap freeze by plunging them in LN2. Use pestle and mortar (pre-cooled at -70C). Start RNA isolation with the bone powder according to the instruction provided.
