How can I separate drug-loaded nanoparticle which floats on the top of the water solution after centrifuge and then dispersed quickly?

The centrifuge machine I currently using has 6000 rpm for 30 min. every time I centrifuge the colloidal solution a small portion of the nanoparticles are floating on the top of the water solution and then quickly dispersed. is there any easy way to separate the exact amount of NPs from that water solution?
