Hi

I am working on Lair2 - small protein that can connect to C1q and MBL (complement system) .

I have three samples , WT, MUT and GST(as control), we used GST beads and incubate them ( WT, MUT ,GST) with C1q and than we wash them and use glutathione reduced once , and the other time with sample buffer .

but we didn't get rid of C1q binding to GST ( control) - in GST there is no Lair-2 so C1q shouldn't bind to the beads.

how can I solve this problem ( non- specific binding) ?
