I would like to indicate the initial position of the end of my beam so I can let go afterwards and see it's time response. Since I only have the amplitud it must have at t=0, I cant use a tabular amplitude. How can I do this?
In the photo attached it shows how I would like my beam to be at the beggining of the simulation.
two ways
1) use import analysis, deform the beam statically to the desired initial position, and import results in explicit and remove any boundary/loads on the deformed end
2) use explicit, deform quasi-statically (very slowly) to desired position, and then let it go

Regarding the second option, how may I deform it quasi-statically till that amplitude?
just apply displacement bc at free end with ramp amplitude, and duration sufficiently long so that KE is much smaller than WK
