i have isolated fluorescent pseudomonads from rice rhizosphere for the control of sheath blight disease of rice. It was found to be pseudomonas aeruginosa which is an opportunistic pathogen. can you give your suggestion to prove that it is not an pathogen

there exist many pathogenicity tests for bacteria. Choose one available in your country and perform pathogenicity testing in an authorized laboratory. The results of testing give you desired answer.

Proving a negative is difficult and no tests are going to confirm your hoped-for classification. Depends of the intended application and the national regulatory body requirements. i.e. Pseudomonas KT2440 is cited as having obtained such biosafety certification, but the tests applied at that time (90s) are probably very different to what is required right now. well, i would suggest to please take precautions, long term consequences are very bad.You know P.aeruginosa, harmful to humans, see literature. better to screen out pathogenic and non pathogenic culture, u may design primers related to pathogenic. secondly You may go for bio control test use metabolite production, that will be good, take precautions while culturing P.aeruginosa. Go for sequencing, find out which gene is responsible for specific metabolite production, clone it, multiply, produce metabolite...

This genus of Pseudomonas is pathogenic to human, and infect the skin wound, therefore, you can prove the isolates is nonpathogenic by treatment the mouse with your isolates

I am working on R. solani which are causing sheath blight. Could you share me the protocol so that I may isolate some biocontrol agents.
You have to carry out the pathogenicity test of this isolate against growing rice plant in the greenhouse. I advice to carry this in vivo assay to be sure that it does not have phytotoxic effect on rice thus could be used as effective bioagent.
