How can i prepare a serial dilution from probiotic supernatants to be used in MTT assay?

I prepared a certain probiotic supernatant each of (10x9 cfu/ml). According to literature, i need to prepare a serial dilution of this supernatant in mg/ml or Mg/ml to start MTT assay. How can prepare serial dilutions in these units while being a volume , not a powder to have a weight???

I assume you wish to enumerate bacteria using the MTT assay. Therefore you have to make appropriate dilutions of your bacterial suspenison (Cfu./ml). See "Current methodology of MTT assay in bacteria - A review
