Is there a possibility to label RNA (siRNA), with e.g. a fluorescent marker, in bacteria (Helicobacter pylori) to see if it secretes it into its target eukaryotic cells? I only know a kit for labeling siRNA in eukaryotic cells.
Usually you can buy the siRNA already labeled with e.g. Alexafluor dyes. This is normally used to see transfection efficiency. With mammalian cells it works fine.
Thx for your answers. But the problem is that I want to label the RNA first in the bacteria and not directly in eukaryotic cells. I want to see if the RNAs in the bacteria are secreted into the eukaryotic cells. I'm not sure if the methods are suitable for bacteria as well.
