UV-Visible Spectrophotometric evaluation of crude phycobiliproteins shows absorption peaks corresponding to both phycocyanin and phycoerythrin. so, how can I separate both phycocyanin and phycoerythrin individually from the crude?
Thank you so much for your suggestion. I 've done anion exchange chromatography for the separation. But, what would done, when the isoelectric point of the two pigments were too close to each other? Polur Hanumantha Rao And...can anyone suggest methods other than gel filtration? I would like to prefer any low cost methods for the separation
