sample: Weigh 1000 mg of melt tank sample into a 100 mL volumetric flask. Dilute to volume with acetone.

standard: Weigh 100 mg ethalfluralin technical into a 100 mL volumetric flask. Dilute to volume with acetone. Using a volumetric pipet, transfer 1 mL into a clean 100-mL volumetric flask and dilute to volume with acetone.

. The standard is prepped at 1000 ppm,

therefore: Area sample = Amount in Sample Area Standard 1000 ppm

(1000ppm x Area sample / area standard) = Sample (ppm)

I don't get the fact that the STD is 1000ppm. I am calculating is 10ppm?

Any help?
