I am looking for hsp90 mRNA sequence in Hela and U2OS cell lines, I have tried through ncbi but always the output is hsp90 in homo sapiens not in the specific cell line. Kindly, could any one guide me to the correct start step (e.g. website )
I do not understand the problem here. U20s is a human osteosarcoma cell line and HELA is also a human cell line so the human sequence of the hsp90 seems appropriate
A deep appreciation Prof. Rutland Paul Rutland for your reply. As I was testing mimic miRNAs (to downregulate endogenous hsp90) in the two cell lines and the downregulation level was different in each cell line (although I was testing the same miRNAs in each cell line). I was wondering whether this could be attributed to a different target sequence (I mean, is hsp90 mRNA coding region in each cell line not completely identical!!).
I want to make sure that the difference in downregulation not related to changes in the target sequences (namely, hsp90 mRNA coding region in Hela and hsp90 mRNA coding region in U2OS). Therefore, I was trying to find out the sequence of each cell line specifically
Thank you for that explanation Rasha Aref . I think that HELA was taken without consent and there have been legal problems with use and acceass for a while. A working group seem to be in charge of access at NCBI and it looks like people have to apply and justify their need for access. The following link may make access restrictions clearer
